Vital DermaDr8 has optimum pH

Our Vital DermaDr8 hydrating serum is designed to have a pH of 5.5, which is the ideal pH for our skin.

Here is how this works:

The outer layer of the skin called “Stratum Corneum”, is covered with a thin film called the “acid mantle”. This area is responsible for keeping in moisture and nutrients and defending your skin against harmful environmental irritants and toxins. If the pH balance is off, your skin will develop problems.

When the mantle becomes alkaline, which would be above pH 5.5, around the range of 7 to 14, the skin becomes dry and sensitive, and is susceptible to conditions like eczema, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis and flaky skin

If it becomes too acidic, in the range of 1 to 4, the skin becomes prone to increased inflammation and sensitivity.
